A Sculpture Affair
Location: Putnam, CT
Date: Through Aug. 31st
What: Artist Dale Rogers has installed a display of more than 20 sculptures for people to enjoy while walking in the Town of Putnam. The two-month-long exhibit takes place in the Business District and along the Putnam River Trail. The sculptures include woodland animals and artwork that makes you stop and think while roaming the streets of Putnam. The Bridge Path
Location: Tarrytown, NY

What: At 3.6 miles, the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge path is one of the longest shared use paths in the country. In addition to providing a new connection for non-motorized travel, the path — with its six overlooks and amenities at each landing — offers an exciting and unique recreational experience. Bicycle Sundays

Location: Westchester County, NY
Date: Ongoing
What: Cyclists, joggers, walkers, and strollers can take to the open road on Sundays when the Bronx River Parkway is closed to motorized vehicles from the Westchester County Center in White Plains to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Masks and proper social distancing required for 2020. The program will run continuously through September 27.  
A Westchester County Parks program, Bicycle Sundays is sponsored by Con Edison, New York Presbyterian Hospital, the Westchester Parks Foundation and Danny’s Cycles, with support from WHUD.

Newport Regatta & Newport Dinghy Regatta

What: With a change in the landscape for the summer of 2020, the Newport Regatta has been modified and will now be held over 3 different weekends in July and August for the majority of the initial classes invited.  We are adhering to DEM guidelines regarding group sizes in the park and instead of canceling entirely, we thought it best to spread to event out to try to get as many of the fleets out on the water as possible during those weekends! Learn More

From June 6 – September 6, 2020, Studio Theater in Exile and Hudson Valley Museum of Contemporary Art (HV MoCA) will present Climbing the Walls, a virtual multi-media arts exploration in the time of Corona. Climbing the Walls is a virtual exhibition of visual works of art, poetry, and performances with new content offered each week from June – September made available to experience free of charge on their websites.
