Event: Parade of Heroes Special by Ancestry
Date: May 25 | 11 AM EST
Description: The 45-minute event is hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and will feature a musical performance by singer-songwriter Tori Kelly as well as interviews with veterans and Memorial Day tributes.There will also be a special focus on World War II, due to this year’s 75th anniversary of its conclusion, including patriotic hymns performed by the Lincoln Way Marching Band from New Lenox, Illinois.
Event: National Memorial Day Concert by PBS
Date: May 24 | 8 PM EST
Description: An American Tradition. On the eve of Memorial Day, a star-studded line up will grace the stage of one of PBS’ highest rated programs. This multi-award-winning television event honors the military service and sacrifice of all our men and women in uniform, their families and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Event: Virtual Poppy Day by American Legion Auxiliary National HQ
Date: May 22 | NOON EST
Description: The red poppy brings back fond memories for many. From distributing the flowers alongside their grandmothers in exchange for donations to being on the receiving end and proudly wearing the poppy after making a donation. Event: New England Air Museum Virtual Tours
