Event: Virtual Art Exhibit: “Strength Through Unity

Description: Artists and the public are encouraged to participate in Strength Through Unity, an online exhibit. The exhibit includes artwork that depicts the solidarity and resilience of humanity given the current situation with the global pandemic. Artists are encouraged to submit their images to All submission requirements can be found at the Maritime Garage Gallery’s Facebook Events page. The public is invited to view the art in May and June at the Gallery’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Event: Virtual Downtown Ghost Tour of Mystic CT
Date: May 15
Description: Join Seaside Shadows on their Downtown Mystic Ghost Stroll from your computer. The guides will walk downtown and give the tour while you take the walk digitally with true stories of Civil War spirits, restless sea captains, supernatural creatures and more saturate the downtown Mystic landscape. Monday Evening Yoga

Take a deep breath and pause for a moment. Finding your breath can help you to feel more centered and relieve some stress. Through yoga, you can find strength, balance, relaxation, and flexibility. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) and Continuing and Distance Education (CDE) at University of Vermont are so thankful to be able to share yoga with you from OLLI instructor and UVM employee Amanda McIntire. CT Science Center From Home

Connecticut Science Center in Hartford is posting engaging activities as well as a spring scavenger hunt that families can do at home using ordinary household items. You can also enjoy the Science Center’s exciting Facebook content including Animal Encounters every Tuesday and Thursday at noon, Field Trip Fridays and #MuseumFromHome on weekends.
