Becoming Warren Buffett If you’ve ever wanted unprecedented insights into the life of billionaire philanthropist Warren Buffet, your wish is about to come true. Film and TV giant HBO revealed yesterday that it will air a documentary about the life of the 86-year-old investor Buffett, exploring how he came to be one of the richest and most successful businessmen in the world. Read more: The three words Warren Buffett wants you to write on your mirror The series will be called Becoming Warren Buffet, and will present viewers with “unprecedented access to his day-to-day personal life”. As an extra treat, the film will be “primarily” narrated by the Oracle of Omaha himself. “Becoming Warren Buffett tells the improbable story of how an ambitious, numbers-obsessed boy from Nebraska became one of the richest, most-respected men in the world… This candid portrait sheds new light on a man who has helped shape the way Americans view capitalism and, more recently, philanthropy,” HBO said in a statement. “The film features never-before-released home videos, family photographs, archival footage and interviews with family and friends.” The first episode will air on January 30 next year and is directed by Emmy-winning Peter Kunhardt. “For over 60 years, I’ve been able to tap dance to work, doing what I love doing. I just feel very, very lucky,” Buffett tells high school students in the documentary. Wallingford, CT – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties has released its Fourth Quarter 2016 Rhode Island Market Report, a valuable resource for anyone looking to buy or sell a home. The report examines the single family and condominium markets throughout Rhode Island and is an in-depth analysis of sales and emerging trends in the market. Single family homes in Rhode Island saw an increase of 6.25% in sales and a jump in sales volume by 13.01% year over year (YOY). In total, there were 2,688 single family homes sold in Fourth Quarter, while sales volume was $808,483,000. Average price was $300,800, a 6.37% increase YOY for single family homes. Average days on market was 115. Condominiums saw a 13.79% increase in sales, and a 15.15% increase in sales volume YOY. 462 condominiums were sold and sales volume was $115,081,000 in Fourth Quarter. Average price for condominiums was $249,100, a 1.18% increase YOY. Average days on market was 119. Sales $1 – $3 million were at 41 units in Fourth Quarter, down from 57 units in Third Quarter. There were 5 sales in the $3-5 million range, down from 8 in Third Quarter. Overall luxury sales were down slightly 3.17% YOY. 2016 Raymond F. Gates Memorial Scholarship Recipients

Tyler Dagnino is a 2016 graduate of Greenwich High School who will attend Bucknell University in the fall to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the Bucknell School of Management.  His 4.02 GPA, 30 out of 36 score on The ACT test and National Honor Society member status were all likely factors in his Early Decision offer from Bucknell.  His extracurricular activities are just as impressive: Varsity Team Tennis (currently captain), Symphony, Concert and Jazz Band member and Youth Basketball Coach volunteer in addition to working as a baseball umpire at the Old Greenwich Riverside Community Center and a summer Tennis instructor at the Old Greenwich Tennis Academy.   Tyler is the son of Elizabeth Dagnino, a REALTOR® with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New England Properties and a member of the Greenwich Association.
