Description: The Gingerbreads of Broadway is a splashy, fun-filled backstage musical about a family of gingerbread cookies making their way from vaudeville to Broadway thanks to one very special lady, Mrs. Claus. Featuring a large cast and a dozen original production numbers, the new musical is a nostalgic take on Broadway and movie musicals set against the backdrop of the holiday season in New York City. The show is written by the award-winning team of  Bert Bernardi (book and lyrics) and Justin Rugg (music) who have won four Broadway World Awards for Best Original/New Works.

Event: Christmas with the Websters
Venue: Noah Webster House and West Hartford Histroical Society – West Hartford
Date: December 14-21
Description: A special holiday tour of the Noah Webster House. The traditions of early 19th century Connecticut Christmas come to life through song, dance, and stories. Mrs. Rebecca Webster guides you through the historic home by lantern light where you will meet Noah, their many children, and some guests. When Webster was a child in the 1760s, Christmas was observed as a religious holiday, with very little fanfare. However, by the time Webster had his own children, things had begun to change with special dinners, songs, dances, and some holiday decorations for the occasion.

Description: It’s Caroling for the masses! Spread good will and joy during one of the coldest times of the year. Annually, the Sunday before Christmas. Meet at Loie Fuller’s from 5-6pm for snacks & socializing and head out at 6pm sharp to bring holiday cheer to the neighborhood. Ending at 8pm with warm drinks, milk & cookies at Sin bakery and cafe (1413 Westminster) just a block from our starting point.

Event: Nutcracker Dream
Venue: Emelin Theatre – Mamaroneck

Description: Nutcracker Dream a beautiful interpretation of the holiday ballet favorite, had its world premiere last season at the Emelin Theatre. Inspired by the work of Marius Petipa and Rudolf Nureyev, Nutcracker Dream is a one-hour family friendly adaptation of the seasonal classic created by world-renowned Choreographer Carole Alexis, and performed by Westchester’s premier dance company Ballet des Amériques.

Event: Grand Holiday Illumination at Untermyer Gardens
Venue: Untermyer Gardens – Yonkers NY

Description: The Walled Garden will be covered with thousands of holiday lights, multicultural holiday music will be playing and hot cocoa will be available for all.  Opening night is Dec 11 from 5:30 to 8 pm, and then every night from Dec 12 through Jan 1 from 4:30 to 8 pm. The garden will look magical!
