Description: Blues & Views Festival is a swingin’ street party complete with tantalizing tastes and soulful sounds along the banks of Westport’s Saugatuck River. A tradition since 2008, the festival features a variety of established bands and soon-to-be-famous acts on the way up. Music fans can purchase the Levitt Live ticket to experience hours of top-quality, national blues, rock, and funk bands at the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts.
Event: 159th Annual Woodstock Fair
Venue: Woodstock Fairgrounds – South Woodstock

Description: The state’s second oldest agricultural fair featuring crafts, lots of food, livestock shows, petting zoo, free stage shows, midway, go-kart races, Better Living Center, vegetables, flowers, strolling entertainers, and much more. On Friday, from 1 p.m.-5 p.m., is Connecticut’s Battle of the Bands, a musical tributre to the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival. At 8:15 p.m., Tusk will take the Main Stage.

Venue: Rough Point – Newport

Description: Tour the Rough Point grounds in the company of experts – once a month our estate gardeners share their expertise on a range of topics from plant identification to organic garden care. Get insider tips about how the Rough Point staff keeps the grounds looking lush and how to incorporate those practices in your own home garden. This program takes place outside and is weather dependent. Tours meet at the camels.

Come meet and talk with your local Yonkers Police Officers and neighbors. Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together – over coffee and now juice! – to discuss issues and learn more about each other. Mark your calendars!
