Description: The Virtu Art Festival is a time honored tradition in Westerly, RI. Incredible works of art are available for sale from some of our country’s most talented artists and craftsmen. Oil paintings, watercolors, pen and ink drawings, pottery, stained and blown glass, hand made furniture, jewelry, painted silk scarves, wind chimes, garden ornaments and so much more are available. Food, live entertainment, downtown sidewalk sales and children’s “make it and take it” activities. Westchester

Event: Bronxville PTA’s Memorial Day Country Fair
Venue: Bronxville High School – Bronxville
Date: May 24
Description: Bronxville PTA’s Memorial Day country fair on Friday, May 24, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the front lawn of the Bronxville School. This year’s Country Fair and Food Fairway, chaired by Mariana Mingo and Heather Scholes, will feature a petting zoo and bungee jumping. Additional attractions include rock climbing, rides, carnival games and prizes, inflatable obstacle courses, bounce houses, and a DJ. Come for dinner and enjoy a bite from Mac’s Truck, Walter’s Hot Dogs, Greek Specialties, Salsa Fresca Grill, Mobile Pie Truck, and Kona Ice (expect long lines!). Country fair bracelets are available online now at bronxvillepta.org. Pre-sale bracelets are $20. Bracelets purchased at the door will be $25. Bracelets are for ages 3 to 16, and are good for all you can ride.  Note: Rain date for the country fair is Saturday, May 25, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

Description: This family-friendly annual event features midway rides for all ages from enchanting kiddie rides to exhilarating thrill rides, entertaining carnival games and a variety of tasty fair food. Carnival admission is free. Single-day unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36 inches or taller) are $30 on site. Online pre-sale ride wristbands are $20 each, 2 wristbands for $35, or a Family Four Pack (2 adult/2 child wristbands) for $60. (Pre-sale ends at 5 pm Thurs., May 23.)
