Event: 34th Annual Outdoor Crafts Festival

Description: The Bruce Museum’s 34th Annual Outdoor Crafts Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19, 2019, from 10 am to 5 pm each day. More than 60 juried exhibitors will share their unique talents and crafts in wood, wearable and decorative fiber, metalwork, leather, paper arts, glass, ceramics, jewelry, and more at this nationally recognized event held on the grounds of the Bruce Museum in Greenwich.

Event: Spring Fling “Beer & Wine Tasting”
Venue: Connecticut Trolley Museum – East Windsor
Date: May 18
Description: Sample wine and beer from local wineries and breweries while enjoying all the Museum has to offer! Just Jeannie, New Earth and Aquadutes will be performing. Additionally, take as many trolley rides as you would like operated by period dressed motormen. Learn historic information about each car you ride and how the museum began. Inside the Visitor Center you will find static trolley cars and artifacts, a theater showing a short film about trolleys and a gift shop to buy that ‘special’ souvenir. On the same grounds is the Connecticut Fire Truck Museum complete with antique fire trucks and apparatus. All activities, tastings and Fire Truck Museum entrance is included with your admission price.

Rhode Island

Event: 32nd Annual Narrow River Road Race
Venue: Narragansett Town Beach – Narragansett
Date: May 18
Description: Enjoy a scenic 10K run, 5K run or 5K walk along the beautiful Narrow River. A fundraiser for Narrow River Preservation Association, check in and awards at the North Pavilion at Narragansett Town Beach. Awards for overall winners and winners in age categories.
