Description: Please join the Rotary Community Corp of KEON on Friday, April 12, 2019, for a Spaghetti Dinner from 6-8 PM at a brand new location this year, the Muriel Morabito Center. It is located at 29 Westbrook Drive Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567. All proceeds will raise monies for Friends of Karen supporting critically ill children and their families for 40 years. Reserve early for a great meal, that is fun, family oriented, and affordable. Hosted by the Special Needs members of the RCC, see how well they can raise monies for Friends of Karen charity, with your participation. There will be many great prizes to be won. For your entertainment, music will be provided 100.7 WHUD Family Fun Crew.

Event: Crumbling Walls: Picasso’s Musical Canvas
Venue: Copland House at Merestead – Mount Kisco

Description: Spotlighting Pablo Picasso’s seminal influence upon generations of composers, the Music from Copland House ensemble performs works inspired by the Spanish master’s paintings, drawings, and stage designs. Highlighting the concert is the World Premiere of a new composition by Viet Cuong, inspired by Picasso’s renowned line drawings; Cuong’s work is Copland House’s inaugural Harvest Commission, supported by Leslie Cecil and Creighton Michael to help further the careers of outstanding young artists from Copland House’s coveted CULTIVATE emerging composers institute. The program also features Picasso-linked music by Robert Sirota and two 20th-century giants, Igor Stravinsky and Manuel de Falla.  Individual tickets are $25 and multi-concert subscriptions are also available.
