Event: 37th Annual Outdoor Arts Festival
Venue:  Bruce Museum – Greenwich

Description: More than 85 new and returning artists from across the country will showcase their work on the grounds of the Bruce Museum. Celebrating its 37th edition this fall, the festival is recognized as one of the top fine arts festivals nationally.   The juried works include painting on canvas, board and paper, mixed media in 2D and 3D, drawings and graphics, including digital media, sculpture and photography. All works are available for purchase and artists are on hand to discuss their pieces and process. In addition, this family-friendly event features delicious lunch menu offerings and free art activities for children.

Event: 40th Annual Woonsocket Autumnfest
Venue: World War II Memorial State Park – Woonsocket

Description: Held over the Columbus Day Weekend, Autumnfest began in 1977 as an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the spirit of Northern Rhode Island. Things to do at Autumnfest: Food Row, Beer Tent, Midway Rides, Sporting Events, Arts & Crafts Booths, Merchant Vendor Booth, Entertainment at the Bandstand and the Kiddiefest area. Enjoy fireworks on the evening of Sunday, October 7 at 9:00 PM. See the parade on Monday, October 8 at 9:30 AM: Starting at the Diamond Hill Plaza, and ending at the WWII Memorial Park, you will be entertained by world-class bands, entertainers, and of course, all the local favorite.

Event: 27th Annual Columbus Day Festival
Venue: Federal hill – Providence
Date: October 6-8
Description: The Federal Hill Commerce Association is celebrating the 27th Annual Columbus Day Festival on historic Federal Hill from October 6 – 8, 2018. The Association is pleased to announce this year’s festival will feature four entertainment stages each day. Additionally, dozens of food and retail vendors, the annual parade, games and amusement rides will line Atwells Avenue. The festival begins on Saturday, October 6th at 10:00 am. This year’s opening ceremony is at 12:00 pm on Saturday at the Depasquale Plaza stage. There will be thee Entertainment Stages during the Columbus Day Festival: DePasquale Plaza, Bank of America, St. John’s Park (Atwells & Sutton).
