Event: 44th Annual Milford Oyster Festival
Venue: Downtown – Milford

Description: The Milford Oyster Festival will be held, rain or shine In addition to the Main Stage entertainment, the event also includes a craft beer area at Lisman Landing, car show, Children’s Stage at Fowler Field, 200 arts and crafts vendors on the Green, amusement rides, schooner cruises, canoe and kayak races, and 35,000 oysters from the East Coast Shellfish Growers Association. Oyster Eve, the festival kick-off event, will be held on August 17, from 6:00p.m. till 10p.m. at Lisman Landing. Headlining the Lisman Landing Harbor Stage on Oyster Eve will be Frontiers, the ultimate Journey Tribute Band. Frontiers, is hailed by fans and critics alike as the best Journey tribute band in the world, performing Journey’s music with chilling accuracy. Craft beers, wine and oysters as well as other great food will be available on Oyster Eve.
Event: 67th Annual Bridgewater Country Fair
Venue: Bridgewater Fairgrounds – Bridgewater

Description: Major agricultural fair featuring midway, animal competitions, exhibits, home arts competitions, tractor pull, food, bandstand entertainment. New attractions include a NASCAR style simulator and tire changing contents, and adventure zip line.
Event: 52nd Washington County Fair
Venue: Washington County Fairgrounds – Richmond

Description: The Washington County Fair is Rhode Island’s largest agricultural event. One of the biggest draws to The Fair is today’s Country Music Stars! The Fair runs for five days (Wednesday – Sunday), taking place August 15 – 19, 2018. Admission includes access to all daily concerts, special acts and events, the giant midway and kiddyland area (all ride tickets and games separate), all agricultural events and shows, exhibits and displays, tractor and horse pulls, the farm museum, and much, much more! Description: The 91st Annual Grecian Festival will be held Friday, Aug. 17, from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18, from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 19, from noon to 9 p.m. Enjoy Greek cuisine, Greek pastries, cooking with Fillo demos, traditional and modern Greek music and dance performances, an indoor/outdoor Greek marketplace, cash raffles, as well as arts and crafts and activities for children of all ages. Description: It’s kid vs grown-up for household bragging rights when guests compete in the second annual Kid vs. Grown-Up challenge at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester. Many believe that creativity declines with age and that kids have the upper hand when it comes to imagination and we’re putting that to the test every weekend in August, beginning Sat. August 4 and running through August 25 & 26. Kids and grown-ups can show off their building skill in a bricktastic creativity battle with one grand prize winner being named at the end of the month. The winner will receive ultimate bragging rights, a private build session with a Model Builder and a LEGO® trophy.
