Event: Cheshire’s Memorial Day Parade
Venue:  Route 10 – Cheshire
Date: May 27
Description: The 2018 Cheshire Memorial Day Parade will honor the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. The parade steps off at 1:30pm. The route is from the Cheshire Police Station on Route 10, south for approximately 1.5 miles to Cheshire High School. Join us to watch Cheshire’s Memorial Day Parade from the lawn of The Sally Bowman Group! We’ll be grilling up dogs and providing iced tea & lemonade at our 10th Annual BBQ. All snacks and refreshments are free, though donations will be accepted in support of the Sunshine Kids, a non-profit dedicated to children with cancer.

Event: RCA Memorial Day Parade
Venue:  Commnity Center to Downtown – Rowayton
Date: May 27
Description: Celebrate our town spirit at the annual Memorial Day Parade! Pick your favorite spot along Rowayton Avenue or McKinley Street and cheer for our veterans, Brien McMahon and Roton School marching bands, our commissioners, volunteer firefighters, Little Leaguers, Scouts and all the many other enthusiastic marchers – even four-footed ones! After the parade, join fellow residents at Veterans’ Cannon to honor those who died in their service to our country. Then stroll on over to the Fire House for hot dogs and soda, hosted by our local fire-fighters and their families.

Rhode Island

Event: Seekonk Parade
Venue: Seekonk High School – Seekonk
Date: May 26
Description: Seekonk: Parade steps off at 10 a.m. from Seekonk High School, 261 Arcade Ave., travels north on Arcade Avenue, north on Newman Avenue and ends at the Hurley Middle School. Complimentary hot dogs and hamburgers at American Legion Post 311, 351 Fall River Ave., after parade.

Event: Charlestown Parade
Venue: Ridgewood Drive– Charlestown
Date: May 27
Description: Charlestown: Parade steps off at 1 p.m. from Ridgewood Drive, follows Old Post (Route 1A) south to King Tom Drive passing through the business district and the village of Cross Mills. Parade stops for ceremonies at Cross Mills Baptist Church cemetery and Cold Brook Memorial, and immediately following the parade at Charlestown Naval Airfield Memorial at Ninigret Park. Free Concert and Ceremonies at Ninigret Park Pavilion follow.

Westchester

Event:  Hastings-on-Hudson Parade
Venue: Reynolds Field – Hastings-on-Hudson
Date: May 27
Description: On Sunday, May 27, a memorial parade will kick off at 2 p.m. at Reynolds Field, down Main Street to Warburton and Maple. Expect marching bands, firetrucks, classics cars, Marines, naval officers, and even a three-star admiral. Afterwards, a ceremony will be held at the local VFW.

Event: Valhalla Parade
Venue: Reynolds Field – Valhalla
Date: May 28
Description: Valhalla’s parade begins at 9:30 a.m. on Westlake Drive and proceeds south on Columbus Avenue. A ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. at Village Green following the parade. Hot dogs, ice cream, and beverages will be served after the ceremony around 11:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post 1038.
