Event: 2018 Spring Greenhouse Show
Venue:  Elizabeth Park Rose Gardens – West Hartford
Date: March 9-16
Description: Show features a spectacular array of spring bulbs and plants grown by Conservancy Horticulturist Rosemary Aldridge, Gardeners Peter Winne and Josh Kwasny and many volunteers. Enjoy an early taste of spring as hundreds of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and muscari bloom in the greenhouse.

Event: Beer & BBQ
Venue:  Guilford Art Center – Guildford
Date: March 9th
Description: Guests are invited to try a selection of beers from area breweries; along with a selection of barbecue-style food. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages also will be served. Live music will be performed by alt-country musician Frank Nerkowski.

Event: “Into the Woods” Musical Dinner Theatre
Venue: Swanhurst Chorus Theatre – Newport

Description: Swanhurst Chorus presents our annual March Dinner Theatre production: Into the Woods, a Musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, featuring an incredible cast of characters to tickle your fancy and make you think. There are evening and matinees performances with delicious new items for the evening dinner or matinee lunch menus (included in the ticket price). A cash bar is also available. Reserve your table early for the best seating as these shows do sell out! Evening performances are March 2nd,3rd,9th and 10th at 7:00 PM. Description: t’s time to get excited about the Music Conservatory of Westchester’s Summer Music & Arts Program! The White Plains community music school offers fun, musical experiences for kids grades K-9 over 4 different 2 week sessions with half or full day options starting June 25 through August 19. K-6 graders can try an instrument, create in Arts & Crafts, participate in Dance & Creative Movement, and young children can experiment with music in Music Skills and Buckets & Beats. The Conservatory’s comprehensive Suzuki Summer Program teaches the Suzuki method of learning an instrument for beginners at age 4 through students grades K-8.
