Event: Maple Sugar Festival Weekend
Venue: Stamford Museum & Nature Center – Stamford
Date: March 3rd-4th
Description: Celebrate the sweetness of the maple sugaring season as this annual family favorite event. Visit the little red sugarhouse on Heckscher Farm and see how sap is turned into maple syrup. Learn how trees are tapped, see how sap is collected, make a maple-themed craft, have your face painted, enjoy live music, and visit the museum galleries. On Saturday, in the Bendel Mansion, watch teen chefs create delicious dishes using museum’s produced maple syrup and vote for your favorite in the First County Bank Teen Chefs Challenge. On Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., enjoy the popular pancake brunch. Don’t forget to purchase a pint of fresh maple syrup, made from the trees at the SM&NC.

Description: Swanhurst Chorus presents our annual March Dinner Theatre production: Into the Woods, a Musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, featuring an incredible cast of characters to tickle your fancy and make you think. Reserve your table early for the best seating as these shows do sell out! Evening performances are March 2nd,3rd,9th and 10th at 7:00 PM. Matinees performances are March 4th and 10th at 1:00 PM.
