Description: New Haven Ballet proudly presents Artistic Director Lisa Sanborn’s exciting full-length production of The Nutcracker. This family-friendly holiday classic is performed by the students of the New Haven Ballet. Come and experience Clara’s dream world brought to life, from the enchanting party where she meets the charming nephew of her Uncle Drosselmeyer and is enthralled by dancing dolls, to the daring battle between the Mouse King and brave Nutcracker Prince. Lead by tiny reindeer, Clara and the Nutcracker Prince travel through the Land of Snow and journey to the enchanting Kingdom of Sweets, where they are entertained by various dancers – including the mysterious Arabian Coffee, the comical Mother Ginger, the dynamic Russian Trepak, and many more.
Event: Bush-Holley House by Candlelight
Venue: Bush-Holley Historic Site – Coscob

Description: A festive holiday evening with costumed interpreters led “candlelight” tours through Bush-Holley House, Greenwich’s only Registered National Historic Landmark. In addition to the family-friendly visit to Bush-Holley House, there will be live music, hot chocolate, seasonal treats, winter-themed crafts for kids and a special appearance by Santa Claus at 5:30 p.m.
Event: ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
Venue: The Nazarina Center Roberts Hall / RIC – Providence

Description: Providence Ballet Theatre’s production of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas returns! Inspired by Clement Clarke Moore’s classic poem, the stage is transformed with visions of Sugar Plums, swirling snow, and a magical appearance by jolly St. Nick! A cast of professional dancers and local children create a fun-filled holiday performance that is perfect for all ages! With original choreography by Artistic Director Eva Marie Pacheco, “Twas the Night Before Christmas” is a unique and colorful interpretation of the classic Holiday poem by Clement Clark Moore. Clocking in at 1 hour and 30 minutes, the Performance is sure to hold children’s attention with a lively St. Nick, Dancing Sugar Plums, Prancing Reindeer, Magical Snowflakes, moving sets, clever puppetry and colorful costumes.
Event: Aldrich Mansion Holiday Evening Buffet
Venue: Aldrich Mansion – Warwick

Description: Enjoy dinner at the Aldrich Mansion fully decorated with Christmas decor. There will be a DJ, cash bar, and holiday evening buffet. Indulge in our selection of imported and Domestic Cheeses and fresh Vegetable Crudités with Peppery parmesan and Buttermilk Dressings, Garnished with Crackers, fruits and Berries. There will also be a soup station and hors doeuvers both hot and cold passed around. The winter salad is composed of Romaine Lettuce with Swiss cheese, Cashews, Dried Cranberries, Diced Apples and Pears with a Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing. For the main course Roast Prime Rib of Beef with a Thyme Reduction, Grilled Chicken with a Sage Sauce, Grilled Salmon with a Ginger Scallion Sauce, Dilled Baby Carrots, Green Beans with Diced Tomatoes, Fresh Rolls and Butter. Dinner will be followed by Coffee, Tea and Decaf and dessert.

Event: Holidays on the Hill Train Show
Venue: Lasdon Park – Armonk

Description: Join us this holiday season at Lasdon Park for our Holidays on the Hill event! Santa will be hearing children’s wishes in The Main House from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.! Bring your camera to capture this special moment! Model trains will be chugging through the main house, which will feature a fully decorated poinsettia tree, and include holiday displays of Rudolf, Charlie Brown and the Grinch. The Lasdon Conservatory will be open with the debut of “Tropical Christmas Treasures,” highlighting tropical plants used during the holidays. In addition to the holiday hours, the conservatory will be open Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 adults and $3 children 12 and under.
