Event: 2017 Holiday Island Stroll
Venue: Block Island – Block Island

Description: The Shopping Stroll starts the Block Island holiday season, with the town sporting festive decorations including the now-famous Lobster Pot Tree, and local retailers offering incredible sales beginning at 10 AM Friday. You also have a chance to win raffle prizes; you pick up an entry form at the Chamber of Commerce office at the ferry landing any time between 10 and 3 on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, then have each participating store add their stamp as you stroll around to see them all. Shop days and hours may vary, so make sure to check! Forms that are returned to the Chamber are eligible for a raffle drawing held at 3:30 PM on Sunday the 26th
Event: 11th Annual Short Story Film Festival

Description: The 11th annual Short Short Story Film Festival arrives in Providence for Thanksgiving weekend on Saturday, November 25th, at AS220’s 95 Empire. The festival presents two distinct programs, each with 17 films and running around 80 minutes, with both live-action and animation. Films hail from 22 countries on four continents, with 28 U.S. premieres and several world premieres.
Event: Westchester’s Winter Wonderland 2017 Grand Opening

Event: Annual Frosty Day
Venue: Lincoln Center – Armonk
Date: November 26th
Description: The Frosty Day fun-filled family activities will start in downtown Armonk at 12:30 p.m. with the annual Frosty Parade scheduled for 4 p.m. The parade will be followed by the annual holiday lighting ceremony at the gazebo in Wampus Brook Park. The Frosty Parade is the only holiday-themed parade in the area and all activities are free to the public. Almost every business, shop and merchant in Armonk is involved somehow in Frosty Day; there are individual corporate sponsorships available for events and activities during the day and the parade.
