Description: Legend has it that somewhere in the woods at the end of the trolley tracks lurk the things that nightmares are made of. This fall a lonely trolley will carry passengers down the tracks to the gate. The choice is yours, enter if you dare. The Isle is suggested for adults and mature children with no health issues. Good walking shoes are recommended as the Isle is a wooded outdoor path with many twists and turns.
Event: Mystic River Oyster Festival
Venue: Mystic Seaport – Mystic
Date: September 30th
Description: This one-day event is a celebration of all things to do with the oyster and seeks to highlight the history, growing, and cuisine of the popular shellfish. The museum opens its grounds to growers, restaurants, educational and advocacy organizations, and others with an interest in the cultivation, conservation, heritage, or cooking of oysters. The interpretation staff is developing programming and demonstrations to complement the historic artifacts on display, which include the Thomas Oyster House, the 1898 oyster sloop Nellie, and harvesting tools. Live music and all of the usual museum activities will insure this is a memorable day for the entire family.
Event: Breakfast with the Elephants
Venue: Roger Williams Park Zoo – Providence

Description: Rise and shine with the Zoo’s herd of African elephants in an exclusive experience before the Zoo opens. Start by dining al fresco on a hot breakfast buffet at the Serengeti Market Cafe, and enjoy baked pastries, fresh fruit, fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, breakfast potatoes, orange juice, cranberry juice, coffee, and water. After breakfast, you will join a zookeeper that cares for these amazing animals to learn about elephant diets, care, training, and more. You will even walk in the footsteps of giants when the program takes you through the outdoor elephant yard to see the elephant pool, enrichment, and hanging hay nets. Capacity is limited to 30 participants. For ages 7 and up.

Description: Linden Place Museum’s Bristol Burger Bash brings together three elements that make for a fantastic fall afternoon – burgers, beer and bluegrass! Come sample East Bay’s best burgers all under one roof while enjoying local beers and wines and listening to down home live bluegrass in the Linden Place ballroom and gardens. East Bay’s best restaurants will bring their “burger” A-game, serving up mini burgers of all types – imagine beef, turkey, chicken, pork, seafood and more! Presented with sponsor Toasted Bun Hospitality, Inc., this afternoon of culinary fun is a fundraiser for the preservation and restoration of Linden Place Mansion.
Event: Fall Festival and Halloween Train Show

Description: Come and enjoy our annual train show display. Stroll through the new Lasdon conservatory exhibit “Tropical Treasures, The Rainforest”. Enjoy our hay maze, down the rabbit hole walk, decorated main house with fairy garden room an veterans museum exhibit. Wine and craft beer tasting.
Event: Pleasantville Farmers Market – Outdoor
Venue: Memorial Plaza – Pleasantville

Description: Experience the largest, year-round farmers market in Westchester, and the one voted “Best of Westchester” in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. With 56 vendors and 7 nearby parking lots, the Market is a delicious good time every Saturday – rain or shine, 8:30am – 1:00pm.
