Description: The third weekend in September is always the host to a long-standing tradition in Guilford, the annual Guilford Fair. Event: International Coastal Cleanup Day
Venue: Shorelines in Rhode Island

Description: The International Coastal Cleanup is the world’s largest volunteer effort for our ocean. People all over the world remove trash from the shores and document what they find. The data is published in an annual report on marine debris by the Ocean Conservancy. Come out and join the rest of the State in cleaning up Rhode Island’s Shores.

Event: 2017 White Plains Jazz Fest

Event: 25th Annual Yonkers Riverfest
Venue: Downtown/Waterfront – Yonkers
Date: September 8th-10th
Description: Five beer gardens, and over 20 different performances on four stages throughout the day. Another addition to the event is the Arts Pavilion on the Yonkers Pier with art installations by five different artists including Haifa, Amanda Wylie, George Guiterrez and Steve Birmingham. Don’t forget the John J. Harvey Boat will be docked at the Yonkers Pier all day, along with free kayaking! Takes place from noon to 7pm, rain or shine.
